PENSACOLA AFTER IVAN
Hurricane Ivan slammed into the U.S. Gulf coast Thursday with furious winds and towering waves that ripped houses off their foundations, sliced bridges in half and cut power to millions. In all, the hurricane killed 70 people in the Caribbean and at least 23 along the Gulf Coast, most of them in Florida. And now tropical storm Jeanne looms in the Atlantic on a track toward the southeastern United States, possibly Florida (click here). I haven't been able to talk to my daughter for over 24 hours but I believe she is and her family are safe. The condition of her home is debatable but the LORD's grace is sufficient and we can TRUST HIM COMPLETELY! (to read/see more, go to http://www.pensacolanewsjournal.com)
